The Wilkinson Partner Program therefore offers a comprehensive package of benefits in return for your commitment to sales of Wilkinson document output management solutions, and is designed to foster strong, profitable relationships to the benefit of both parties.
Program Benefits
Financial
Wilkinson offers a generous margin for partners who meet our minimum level of technical certification and sales authorisation. Additional rebates are available for partners who achieve or exceed their agreed sales targets.
Education and training
Sales and technical training is available to assist new partners in achieving certification status. In addition, live, interactive web sessions are held on a bi-monthly basis to provide further, in-depth training on current product features, enhancements and new releases.
Marketing
To help you conduct effective marketing campaigns, a wide range of marketing materials is available on the Wilkinson Partner Resource Centre. This includes artwork, presentation material, prospect qualification guides, competitive analysis and other market research.
For partners who commit to an agreed marketing plan, Wilkinson provides co-funding for specific lead generation campaigns, sales collateral and PR. Wilkinson staff are also available to present at customer seminars and other lead-generation events.
Sales
On achieving certification, you will receive a welcome kit that includes not-for-resale software for your own internal use, as well as demo software and sales scripts for use in sales calls. Wilkinson staff can provide pre-sales assistance when needed to help close a deal.
Technical support and maintenance
Wilkinson offers three levels of technical support, depending on the partner agreement. Other elements of our support program include technical FAQs; patch, version and new feature updates; and priority access to pre-release products and enhancements.
Partner communications
Each Wilkinson partner benefits from the support of a dedicated channel manager, who will ensure that you have timely access to the resources you need. Many of our training, marketing, sales and technical resources are already available for instant download from our online partner resource centre. In addition, we publish a regular partner newsletter containing details of new product announcements, upcoming events, special promotions and new marketing materials.
As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, your channel manager will also invite you to provide product and market feedback, and to contribute to our product roadmap.
Partner Requirements
Channel partners need to demonstrate a high degree of commitment to Wilkinson products by investing time in sales and technical training, implementing lead generation campaigns, achieving sales targets, and submitting regular business plans.
Minimum requirements include:
- Two WilComm-certified staff members (1 technical and 1 sales)
- Six-monthly marketing and sales plan
- Monthly sales forecast
- 2 sales transactions in 6 months
