WilComm Document Output Management for SAP Business One
Download Press Release
8 January 2007, Melbourne – Wilkinson Electronic Document Solutions
today announced the release of the WilComm document output management
solution for SAP Business One.
Whilst ERP systems generally result in significant efficiencies
throughout the supply chain, the process of creating and distributing
purchase orders, delivery dockets, invoices and other supply chain
documentation often remains an unsolved issue. WilComm extends the
basic forms capabilities of SAP Business One to include sophisticated
electronic document features, including an elegant, easy-to-use forms
designer; automated print, email and fax distribution according to
customer preferences; and automatic, digital filing or archiving for
fast storage and retrieval.
The process for creating electronic forms with WilComm is simple:
WilComm processes standard SAP Business One application output, without
the need for any file format changes. An intuitive, WYSIWYG method of
form design makes it easy to create forms in landscape and portrait
format, draw boxes and tables with rounded corners, and also allows the
dynamic display of graphics such as logos, signatures and barcodes. By
simply mapping the data from the existing print job to the form
variables, fields are populated automatically within the electronic
form. Distribution rules then provide an automatic destination for each
job: print, fax, email, file and archive or any combination of these.
For maximum flexibility, forms may be output in TXT, PDF, CSV and XLS
file formats.
WilComm for SAP Business One is modular by design
and consists of the WilComm Server and a choice of service modules –
print, fax, email, file and archive – and other optional software
add-ons. A basic installation of the WilComm document output management
solution includes WilComm Server and one service module.
